Fashion Finds Friday: Zara Leather Jackets
This week all of these lovely leather jackets are from Zara! Synthetic leather and faux leather, these will not break your bank, but are an essential statement piece to any wardrobe. The weather is getting nicer, and the leather is coming out! Enjoy.
Fashion Finds Friday: Paperdolls Boutique
This week we are looking at beautiful pieces from a Saint Louis boutique: Paperdolls! I wanted to showcase this boutique because I grew up in Saint Louis, and love my hometown and the local clothing stores of course! They take orders over the phone with a flat rate of $5 shipping! Enjoy.
Fashion Finds Friday: Blue Hues from Ann Taylor
This week is all about Ann Taylor’s fashion finds of blue hues for the spring season! Try a pant or a scarf, you can’t go wrong with any of these patterns and styles.
All of these pieces would be perfect for the upcoming Easter Holiday! Try to add patterns together and put some blue into your life! If you like what you see start shopping at Ann Taylor.com.
Fashion Finds Friday: J. Crew Blazers
This week we are looking at the beautifully crafted blazers from J.Crew. All of these have style and sophistication, so try now now for the summer season.
This striped sailor inspired blazer is perfect for the coming spring and summer seasons. Look fabulous at a party or rock this on a girl date, you’ll love the way you look.
This tweed blazer is perfect for a lovely day out with friends. Pair with jeans and keep it casual yet dressed up.
I love this metallic blazer! It shines without actually having glitter. A night out with this, and you will for sure get noticed.
This blazer is floral and fun. I love the details and the craftsmanship of the blazer.
Finally this peach blazer would work perfectly with a jean shirt shown here. Add a pair of jeans and then flats and you are good to go for the day and night.
Fashion Finds Friday: St. Patrick’s Day Gear
This week we are looking at St. Patrick’s Day gear from Urban Outfitters. Living in Chicago, I thought it was only fitting that I post about one of the biggest days of the year for the city. The river is dyed green, strangers become friends, and the whole city takes the day off!
These shades may be pastel, but at least they are seafoam green! I love these because if you don’t have a big budget to spend or anything green you want to wear, put these on with a bunch of beads and consider yourself set! The best part? You can wear them again in the spring.
Trying to add a pop of neon, but don’t know where?! Put it on your phone! I like this case for St. Patrick’s Day, or just whenever you are feeling lucky.
I picked this great cut off shirt because it could worn again. It doesn’t shout IM GREEN in your face, but you also won’t get pinched for having no green on! Wear it again under a beige leather jacket.
These would add the perfect touch of cuteness to any outfit. The shamrock beer combo is one that cannot be beat.
Finally, my favorite shirt! I would keep this one in hand for years to come because lets be honest, you could wear it every year! Don’t see this shirt as just cute, see it as an investment.
Fashion Finds Friday: Zara Coats
This week we are looking at these wonderfully oversized Zara coats! The patterns, the colors, the price! All of these coats are made for spring when it just isn’t too warm out to not have one of these. You can also use a few in the fall too because of their colors.
This burnt orange, coral coat is beautiful and feminine. I love the boxy shape with the accentuated shoulders. I would wear this in spring or summer if you live somewhere where it gets cool at night. Do not wear over a dress because it will look like you are naked.
This coat is a little darker for those of you that do not wear color. The pattern is very detailed and just enough of a bold move that it doesn’t overpower the rest of the outfit. It is comfortable yet suitable to wear outside the home.
I love this coat! The colors make it perfect for spring and fall! The pattern makes it look old world vintage. If you wanna stand out buy a loud print like this one.
Finally, I picked this coat because of it pattern-blocking. The sleeves are cute and artsy, with the other pattern at the bottom being muted yet texturized. It is a fun coat that can be used in both spring and fall.
Fashion Finds Friday: Sexy Shoes from Akira
This week we are looking at some hot heels brought to you by Akira. From Jeffery Campbell to Dolce Vita these shoes make a statement, and that statement is “I am fierce”.
This platform pump from Be Linda, is so stylish I cannot wait to get my hands on it. Wear these for a nicer occasion. I love the metal detailing on the back, making them not your usual black pumps.
This Kelly-5 shoe is only $49, making it a steal for summer. I love the pattern on the platform, and could see wearing this with white skinny jeans or making a summer dress fancy.
These shoes are from Jeffery Campbell. I love the chunky front with the wooden heel. I would wear these out in summer or winter. If you want to be sky high then buy a pair of these puppies!
The great thing about these shoes is that they are color-blocking with vibrant colors and snake like patterns! For just $55 dollars these shoes can be yours!
These pumps from Dolce Vita incorporate the stripes theme without being over sailor like. They are classy and feminine and would go great with a solid colored dress, if you aren’t afraid to mix and match bright colors.
Fashion Finds Friday: Feeling Floral
Floral for spring—groundbreaking. However, this coming spring floral for pants is going to be seen from coast to coast no matter what city you are in. These floral print bottoms come in everything from pixie pants, leggings, to jeans, so pick your favorite style and find a fantastic floral and rock it!
These bottoms are from boohoo.com, a website I recently discovered from a friend. Needless to say I am now broke again by wanting everything on their site. Be sure to check out the dresses too—they are a good price and super cute!
These floral bottoms are more cool tones than the ones above. I would recommend these to people with darker hair and darker skin tone. Since there is such a black undertone in the pants, be sure to only wear black shoes and accessories with this one. I would not wear any gold jewelry with this–instead try silver.
Another pair with black undertones! These prints are so busy be sure to match with solid colors that are neutral! White, brown, beige, black, and grey are all options. However, for this pair of pants I would try a white or black solid top–most likely chiffon.
These leggings are great because they are a floral print but also add a bit of edge to it. They are almost psychedelic! Definitely wear these on a day off, they are meant to be casual.
Fashion Finds Friday: Forever 21 Style
I am loving this new trend for spring of black and white and striped! If you love neutrals just as much as I do you too will appreciate this outfit as well! All of these pieces were hand picked from Forever 21, and together they make a super cool easy outfit for any day.
The pants! These pants are amazing. The black and white stripes will add length to your legs because they make the eye go up and down. These may be a little bold for some of you, but matched with the other solids in the collection it will calm down the almost mind-blowning effect of the leggings.
I am a woman of chiffon! I love this shirt because of its diversity and ability to wear with so many things. Not only can you pair this with the pants above, but can’t you also see the potential to wear it with jeans, black leggings, or even colored denim?
These accessories are all great because they are all the same neutral (black), but add various textures and styles to the outfit. The bowler hat is cute, and would again be able to use again. These sunglasses are very in right now…do you think you would try this trend? And finally, there are the boots that have the tassel detailing on the side. I love these because of the heel height that isn’t going to scare women and men off.
Fashion Finds Friday: Flower Headpieces from ASOS
ASOS, is a fantastic website that offers fashions from across the pond. Located in the UK, the Asos brands often brings new styles to those of us in the US. (hint they have free shipping!) A big trend that has hit the UK, but maybe not the US yet, is the flower headpieces! See below for some of my favorites, and even the one I ordered!
Blue and Butterflies! This headpiece color is just fantastic. I love the details in the headpiece with the contrasting colors in the butterflies. Wear this look on a casual day if you are brave enough! Frankly, I think these headpieces are awesome, and would love to see more of them spotted around the city–maybe not till summer though
This innocent white flower headpiece is perfect to add to any white dress. I would not wear this with any other color. This could be fun for a party or get together with friends for lunch. Would you wear this headpiece?
This is the one I loved the most, I even ordered it! Subtle yet still a smash, this light pink headpiece is perfect to match any summer dress! Again, I would only pair this pastel colors that help highlight the perfection that is this headpiece.
Fashion Finds Friday: Urban Outfitters Apparel
This week’s Fashion Finds friday is all about Urban Outfitters. All the of the pieces from today’s fashion find are from the store, and mimic its cool laid back style. I put together these pieces trying to stay true to my favorite color to wear: black. However, when dressing I love textures and different designs.
This sweater looks like something I could fall asleep in! I love the abstract design with squares and stripes. This knit sweater could be worn in winter or on cool spring nights!
These shoes! I love the current trend of wedged sneakers. At first, I was very hesitant of the trend, but now that it is here to stay, I have never been more excited to get my hands on these. I love how these are casual yet give you height and style. What do you think of this trend?
These leggings are super cute. They are faux leather, and flatter any shape. If you have curves like Beyonce don’t be afraid to dote these. Plus the longer sweater matched with these will help hide any spots you wish to keep covered.
The jewelry I picked for this week’s fashion finds all have hints of black in them and are gold. I am very pale; therefore, I avoid silver jewelry when I can. If you were blessed with a natural tan then please go for the silver–I am jealous! However, I liked the different variations with these pieces. Each one brings edge in a different way. The skulls are my favorite, what are yours?
Fashion Finds Friday: Tobi Style
This weeks’ fashion finds are all about one of my favorite website: Tobi! Not only do they have adorable clothes, but they also have the best website and deals I have seen in a while! 50% off your first order, and 30% off all new arrivals ALWAYS! I have literally gone broke on buying out their whole website. Below I will show you some of my favorite pieces I am looking at right now!
This lilac skirt, is perfect for the upcoming spring 2013! I love how it is flattering to any body because it flares out at the thighs but hits you just right with the waist band. Paired with some gold accessories and a plain white tee, this outfit is good to go for any day to day activity. I would wear this to school or a casual date!
The brown clutch with studded detail is beyond cute. I have been looking at this for a few weeks now! It comes with a strap so if you get tired of carrying it as a clutch you can easily change it to an across the body bag! I love the studded details, they are so fabulous right now. It is a great price for such a fun bag.
The shoes–two words: metallic gold! I love the simplicity of these shoes, but also the shimmer that they bring! I would wear these with many sundresses this summer and hopefully this spring–if the weather permits! Fingers crossed we can wear these before June! ( for all of you in Chicago you know what I mean, but damn you guys in California and Florida, with 70 temperatures year round!)
Which Would YOU buy from this week’s fashion finds?? Tell me the one you loved the most, or ALL three!
