Wardrobe Wednesday: Petal Boutique
This week I am showcasing an adorable website I found from a from. Scarves, bows, and stripes what is there not to like?
This bow dress is the perfect picture of cuteness. Be quick though because it sells out fast! Wear this to a wedding, graduation party, or just a summer date, it is perfect for all occasions! Plus it comes in great pastel colors.
These shorts are decorated decor! I love the color and the pattern matched with this plain shirt. Cool and chic this outfit is perfect for those sunny school days.
This sailor scarf will be perfect for the Fourth of July. A pop of red with accents of white and blue, you will showcase your patriotic pride.
I am a big fan of maxi dresses, and this striped one is comfortable and chill. The different stripes makes it more playful, but the diagonal ones accentuate great things for any body type.
Preppy and chic? Try these shoes with white skinny jeans or anything navy. They will add some flair to any outfit and are so cute!
Chevron is so in right now. This top incorporates the trend of black and white with chevron. Add a pop of color to this with a statement necklace.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Maxi Dresses from Antrhopologie
With summer and spring just around the corner it is time to start looking for maxi dresses. Fun patters, and great colors all of these maxi dresses are perfect for the coming warm weather because of how comfortable they are! Check out below my favorites form Anthropologie.
This maxi dress comes in grey (shown here) and blue. I love the horizontal stripes and the casualness of this dress. Wear it to the market or on a long walk, this dress proves you can be comfortable and stylish at the same time.
Bohemian Chic. This dress has great patterns and shapes! It also helps accentuate your waist with this leather belt. Add sandals to this dress and you are ready for a picnic or outing.
Going along with the high low trend, this dress and its floral patterns brings a little of Spanish flavor. I love the blue necklace at the top to help contrast the dark red and black.
I absolutely adore this dress! I love the belt, the patter, and the neckline. There is so much going on with this dress, yet it looks so relaxed. Try it with white or beige sandals, and wear this dress on a date! It also comes in the color below…..

Wardrobe Wednesday: Interview Outfits
This week we are looking at the best outfits for interviews that are all coming from Vince Camuto! Recently I have made a few select purchases that are staples for my future interviewing for full time jobs! At least now I will be somewhat prepared for what is to come, and so should you! Whether you are looking for internships, or entry-level jobs like me, or even a full time employee already, some of these pieces should be in your closet.
This is a classic black blazer from Vince Camuto. I love the stripes on the inside, it makes the jacket that much more special. This is actually on sale right now online so go snatch it up! Click here for the blazer.
I love white blazers, and unfortunately they cannot be worn in the winter or fall. But, since spring and summer are quickly approaching, we can look at this white blazer for an interview. Click here for the white blazer.
I picked this pencil skirt because it adds fun to the job interview process. I do not like the black, grey, navy, and brown, pant suit routine. So if you are like me and what something that is jazzy then pick this! Warning only wear this in the summer or spring like the white blazer above. Click here for the skirt.
Here is the classic black pencil skirt, that even though is slightly boring compared to the other pencil skirt is a must! You should definitely have one of these in your closet before any exciting and jazzy pencil skirts. Click here for the pencil skirt–shh its on sale!
Once you have landed the job, and are now looking for things to wear to work, I love this shift dress with the accentuated waist. The vertical stripes are very flattering. Click here for the shift dress.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Essential Totes
All these totes come from a lovely website I stumbled upon while online shopping. I was look for inspiration from things on Pintrest, and found the online store, Spool 72. What a find it was. I absolutely adore everything they make, and it is handmade too! I even bought this sweater. ($42)
I love the color of this bag. The studded details make it trendy and cute. The teal color will be a big one for spring and summer. I could use this bag everyday and would match it with other bright colors. I find that people usually stray away from colors and want to match something bright with something neutral—try something new and match two bright colors together, like teal and yellow! ($62)
This neutral bag, is beautifully crafted and has amazing details with the zippers and their pulls. I love this bag because of its boho chic vibe while still being structured. Matching this with a long maxi dress or a pair of jeans would be perfect for on the go accessories that are practical! ($72)
This bag is fun and playful with the color and the stripes. The peach color is something I always gravitate too because I feel that it goes better with fairer skin tones like myself. Matching this with a teal dress would be adorable, or even white. Whatever you do this sailor inspired bag needs to be in your summer wardrobe. ($62)

Wardrobe Wednesday: Cheetah Prints
Cheetah seems to be popping up everywhere for the past few seasons of fashion ! It is one trend that is here to stay—at least for now! Cheetah can vary from different colors but the overall look remains the same: chic, classy, and sophisticated! Look at some of these accessories that will add kitty confidence to your outfit!
This piece from Marc Jacobs is not a clutch–although it looks like it could be! This is his version of computer case, and I love it! What better way to lug around that heavy macbook than with a cheetah Marc Jacobs! You will be the envy of all your coworkers and classmates!
These wedges from Tory Burch, are all around adorable! They may be a but pricey, but it will totally be worth it when you can wear them with any outfit, any time of the year! They may be suede but a nice cocktail party in the summer is still an occasion to bring these out.
This cheetah scarf is perfect to throw over a tee shirt with jeans, or even a simple solid colored dress! It adds a bit of sophistication and will make you feel more dressed up than you really are, while still keeping it casual for class, work, or day activities.
These flats are from Tobi, and I actually have these! I have worn them probably more than I should have and they go with almost any of my outfits. I haven’t been able to pull them out in a while, but I am counting down the days till I can finally wear these in warmer weather!
Finally, this bracelet from Tory Burch is perfect to add a touch of the cheetah if you don’t want it to be a main piece to your outfit! I love how this wraps around the wrist that gives it a chunky feel without the actual weight.

Rachel Jane
Wardrobe Wednesday: Everyday Leggings
This week we are going to look at black leggings! We all have that one pair that we wear every single day–okay so maybe it is really 2 or 3! Black leggings are essential for any wardrobe! They can be matched with anything and give you a great slimming neutral. Below are some fantastic options for leggings to wear everyday that are NOT see through.
These leggings from Topshop are great because they look like they may be a pair of skinny jeans! However do not be fooled, they are really leggings that can be used for any day use! Match these with a boyfriend style chiffon shirt and boots and you can call yourself complete for anything–school, day date, whatever!
These leggings are from Tobi! They perfectly combine knit leggings with faux leather to add edge. I would pair these leggings with a graphic tee and a blazer to add more style.
Finally, these leggings are from Jcrew! They are called the pixie pant and are just as adorable as they sound. The great thing about these is how thick they are, yet not over whelming so you can still wear them in summer. They are slimming and have the closed zipper on the back to make sure the fit is just right.

Rachel Jane
Wardrobe Wednesday: Black Dresses
The essential wardrobe pice, the little black dress! If you are like me, your first initial thought is wow–I have so many black dresses I really do not need another. However, recently I went through the wardrobe and found that I only had 2 left, and they were both outdated and never worn. Therefore, I recently went on the prowl to find new LBDs to keep my wardrobe complete. Naturally I went to one of my favorite stores: Topshop, so all the inspirations are from there–enjoy!
This one from Topshop is absolutely adorable. The cute bow at the waist adds cuteness and style to the overall look. The tulle underneath also helps add a playful vibe to this adorable dress.
This wrap dress from Topshop may look boring to you, but it helps you out in all the right ways! The scrunched waist helps build a slender shape and the long sleeves can keep your arms covered for more formal occasions! In order to make this pop, add a jacket with pizazz! Check out last week’s Wardrobe Wednesday: Styled Jackets below, for more inspirations.
Next, look at this beaded beauty! This dress has a detailed neckline, but still falls under the LBD category. If you found that your closet is full of boring black dresses, then this one is perfect for something new and shiny!
Check below to see myself and some of my friends in our LBDs for an event recently. Which one do you like the best? Can you tell which one is me?

Wardrobe Wednesday: Stylish Jackets
For this week’s Wardrobe Wednesday I decided to pull some of my favorite jackets from my very own wardrobe! I apologize for the poor lighting, I always break my nice cameras! Jackets should be an essential part of any young woman’s wardrobe, however, when living in such climates like Chicago it is a no brainer. Jackets should be just as stylish on the outside as what you wear underneath! Therefore, take a look below at some of my favorites from around the world and over the years.
This classic trench coat I bought from Francesca’s a few months ago because of its feminine design. I like to pair this jacket with a pair of skinny jeans and boots. I would not wear this jacket with a dress because of the cut. The cut billowing out from the waist would look awkward with a dress or skirt because they would be too similar and add extra weight.
This blazer I bought from H&M because of the ruffle detailing on the side. I love the color because I could pair this with a brighter solid or pattern underneath. It makes for a perfect interview jacket or business dealings. However, unlike most of casual business wear, it is not boring!

I absolutelyadore this jacket–it was a cherished Christmas present this year. I got this gift from Tobi, one of my favorite sites. I love to wear it with black leggings and a black tank. Another option to add color, would be to add a bright blue shirt, or maybe a statement necklace. I wear this jacket out sometimes, see above!
Lovely lovely leopard! This jacket is from Urban Outfitters, and it was such a steal I had to take it home! This leopard jacket was purchased with the idea of wearing over formal dresses. In Chicago, the weather stays chilly until about May, so I always have to plan for my formal dresses to be paired with jackets, this year I am thinking about doing a blue skater dress underneath this leopard jacket. What do you think?
It is all about volume! This picture does not do the jacket justice. I picked this piece up at a market in Paris two summers ago! The sleeves are like something out of Shakespeare, and wherever I go people fawn over this jacket. I pair it with grey or blue skinny jeans and call it a day.
Chic, fabulous, fur! This jacket is also from Urban Outfitters and definitely another steal! I love this jacket so much because it is so sophisticated, and stylish! It goes with any outfit I have, and looks much more expensive than it actually is. I adore the brand BB Dakota.
Finally, here is another one of my favorite blazers. I picked it up last summer in Paris from one of my favorite stores Stradivarius! Also last summer I realized that this store was also in Greece—needless to say my life was complete and my budget was blown. Very unfortunately, it is not in the United States yet, but fingers crossed that it will be coming here soon!
