Snorkeling! I love this activity whenever I am on vacation in a place that allows it. I am not the kind of girl that prefers to tan outside for hours (I would die, and I get way too bored for that) I much prefer to snorkel, wind surf, or paddle board! This photo was taken in the beautiful blue waters of Puerto Rico. I went there last year for spring break with two of my college friends!
Grilled Cheese is one of my favorite pastimes. Although it is normally a kid’s lunch, I got this good-looking sandwich on sourdough bread with avocado and tomato. I also had tomato soup on the side. It was the perfect meal. I will literally eat anything with avocados in it, so this with two hot pieces of bread and cheese, and I couldn’t say no.
I love these cupcakes! They are so adorable! I feel like they would be perfect for a friends birthday party or even a bachlorette party, baby shower, etc for those of us that are always fashionistas at heart! If you love baking, like I do, then be sure to try these out.

Just a lazy Sunday of magazines, homework, and articles! My mother mails me articles she thinks I would like to read form the New York Times–how cute is she? I post my favorites under the Advice section–check them out for advice on landing the perfect job or dating!
I love the city of Chicago! I have called this place home for the past 4 years, and plan on many more. Look at the beautiful skyline. I took this while on a date to the Chicago Aquarium! The Shedd Aquarium is a great place to have a date, there are no awkward silences, and there is always something to talk about-whether it is how cool those sharks are, to how pretty the dolphins, you’ll never be searching for a conversation starter.
I love baking! Whenever I have a free moment I will make these tasty goodies for my friends and family. I call them “original janes”! They are chocolate chip cookies with cream cheese icing in the middle! They are so easy to make, just get the pull and bake cookies from your local grocery store and buy a jar of the cream cheese icing (my favorite) and spread in the middle after baking. (be sure to let cookies cool, or else the icing would melt!) I like to bake my cookies less than the allotted time on the packages because I feel like they are better when gooey! So if the package says bake for 10-12 mins on 350 degrees, then I bake mine for 8-9 mins! Try it! So easy and delicious–but beware they are filled with calories, but so worth it in my opinion!
Putting together press kits for The Carrie Diaries! The newest show brought to you by The CW! Check out the prequel to the popular and iconic show Sex and the City! Tune in Monday nights at 7 pm (CT), and follow the early life of the inspirational and timeless character Carrie Bradshaw! I don’t care what age she is, Carrie is fabulous!
My puppy, Tyler, brings me joy every day of my life! He is the chillest dog you’ll ever meet. He loves laying around the house and is a complete ‘lap’ dog. He is a maltese, so he is a true descendent of his ancestors! The maltese breed were used for the women of the royal court in order to have a fun furry animal to sit on their laps the long hours of the day in the throne room!
Quinoa! This is an excellent way to eat healthy while still having taste. This little bowl of deliciousness is from Protein Bar, found in various locations around Chicago. Today, I got the “Guac and Roll” in a bowl with added Quinoa, pronounced KEEN-WAY. This small but healthy grain is great for after workouts because it contains a large amount of protein needed to rebuild muscles!
Tacos! I am a huge fan of this mexican dish. Tacos are so delicious from any restaurant. Whether they are from Chipotle, or Flacos Tacos as seen here. I always love this for a hearty meal, that includes a lot of food groups! Cheese, lettuce, meat, veggies, and pico de gallo! They have them all! I especially love pairing my tacos with guacamole and chips with maybe a margarita, if the timing is right! My favorite margarita is mango!
